Emergency responders rushed to the scene in Sao Paulo after the alarm was raised on Sunday.

A female friend who was inside the house on the night but left before Barbara died told police the influencer had injured her eye earlier that day.

Barbara had undergone 27 plastic surgeries in a bid to look like a real-life Barbie doll during her life.

She was dubbed “Inhuman doll” after she spent an estimated £42,000 on trying to change her look.

With more than 55,000 followers on Instagram, she also appeared in multiple TV programmes and ad campaigns after making a name for herself on social media.

Police registered the influencer’s death as “suspicious” and are now awaiting a full autopsy report before further investigation.

Just a few weeks ago, she shocked fans with a selfie video showing her blackened and bloodshot eyes after one of her operations.

One person wrote: “I can’t believe it. I loved you so much. Rest in peace.”

Another said: “I hope God receives you with open arms. I can’t believe you’ve gone.

“You lived a little bit of the life you loved, and that comforts us a bit.”

Meanwhile, another influencer and popular fitness model was found dead at her home in Brazil.

Fernanda Oliveira da Silva, better known online as Fernanda Maroca, was discovered lifeless by family members on Thursday at her property in Lago Verde, near São Luís.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but could only confirm her tragic death.

The 30-year-old was a well-known content creator, sharing cosmetic reviews and fitness tips with thousands of followers.

It all comes just days after a glamorous nurse-turned-model died of a suspected heart attack while on a shoot abroad.

Fans of Hsieh Youxin were shocked by her sudden passing as the news broke.
